Augmentation is one of the most common types of plastic surgery, with immediate effects and minimal risks. Our clinic uses implants by Nagor, Motiva and Mentor. These are some of the best implants on the market. All brands used by our clinic meet the quality requirements of ISO and EN standards and have CE certification.
A novel breast augmentation method that leaves just a 2.5 cm scar
The revolutionary Motiva Ergonomix breast augmentation method using silicone implants that was first performed in the Czech Republic by plastic surgeon Petr Hýža MD, enables breast augmentation using incisions that are only 2.5 cm long. When routine breast implants are used, an incision of at least 5 cm is needed.
Using special technology, the Motiva Ergonomix implant is compressed to a minimal size using the so-called Insertion Sleeve, a sterile funnel-like bag. Before inserting the implant, a pouch corresponding precisely to the selected implant is prepared using the Motiva™ Ultralight LED Retractor for better visibility.
This highly safe technique, whereby the implant is inserted into the breast via a sterile bag, decreases the risk of infection around the implant and prevents the risk of capsule contractures in the future.
Price for a sterile bag: 550 EUR
The surgery is suitable for:
Augmentation will help women who are troubled by small or sagging breasts, whether due to natural disposition, breastfeeding or weight loss. Breast augmentation is recommended, for instance, for young girls with less developed breasts or for women where a decline of the lacteal gland has led to slightly sagging breasts.
When to undergo the surgery:
Generally anytime is fine, unless you are planning to become pregnant in the near future. The size of breasts can change significantly during pregnancy. It is recommended that mothers wait at least 6 months after they have stopped breastfeeding.
What to expect:
We usually increase breast sizes by 1 or 2 size categories. This can also be combined with modelling in the case of asymmetrical or sagging breasts. However, we always proceed in a manner that ensures the breasts retain their natural look.
Preparation for surgery:
As with other kinds of surgery, it is also necessary to stop taking certain medications before augmentation, specifically medications containing acetylsalicylic acid and medications that affect blood coagulation. A pre-surgery examination is required before the surgery. Some doctors also require a sonograph or mammography examination of the breasts. The client should arrive for surgery on an empty stomach, having completed their basic hygiene, washed their hair and of course without make-up.
How is the surgery performed:
The operation takes about 1-2 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia. The implant is inserted into a 3-4 cm long incision located in the crease between the breast and chest or in the dark skin surrounding the nipple. Blunt preparation of the tissue is used to create a pocket into which the implant is inserted. It is important to ensure the implants are fully covered, otherwise, they could be visible and look unnatural. We can explain and show you all the details at the clinic.
Length of hospitalisation:
One day is usually sufficient, however, it is recommended you take a two-week vacation to ensure proper and safe healing. We recommend you avoid sports and strenuous physical activities for four weeks.
What to expect after surgery:
Clients remain at the clinic for 1-2 days, stitches are removed on the 7th-10th day after surgery. A special compression bra must be worn for 4 weeks after surgery. We recommend our clients massage their breasts, which prevents the formation of a ligament capsule around the implant. After surgery, patients are checked at the clinic to evaluate the results. Breast implants are made of highly durable materials and are virtually indestructible, which is why manufacturers provide a lifelong warranty for breast implants.
We will be happy to answer them at our clinic.
