We recommend this surgery take place when the patient is adult and following a consultation with a plastic surgeon. The client must also meet specific requirements with regard to overall medical health.
What result should I expect?
The result of this surgery is practically immediate. Your buttocks will be fuller and enlarged to the required size, precisely according to your wishes.
How does the surgery proceed?
This surgery takes place under general anaesthesia. The incision is made in the upper part of the crease between the buttocks and the implant is inserted between the layers of the large buttock muscle. Smooth implants are usually used during this surgery. The sutures are intradermal and do not require any further care or removal. We use a so-called Steri strip to cover the sutures so that the wounds heal quickly and effectively. The Steri strip is an aesthetic plaster suture.
How long will the hospital stay be?
2 days of hospitalisation are required.
What can I expect after the surgery?
You can expect some swelling and pain in the area of the implant immediately after the procedure.
The recommended period of convalescence is 14 days and we recommend you avoid putting strain on your buttocks or sitting on them for approximately 10 days. You must also restrict all physical activity, including sports. Physical exercise can be gradually introduced 4 – 6 weeks after the surgery.
