Combined surgery in Prague
One surgery. One personal plan. Fully supported – even when travelling from abroad.
After pregnancy, breastfeeding or major weight loss, the abdomen and breasts can change in ways that exercise alone cannot reverse. A Mommy Makeover combines exactly the procedures your body needs – such as a tummy tuck, breast lift, breast augmentation, breast reduction or liposuction.
One operation. One recovery. The right combination is assessed by the plastic surgeon expected to perform your surgery.
Your photos are reviewed directly by the plastic surgeon expected to perform your operation. You receive an initial recommendation and price estimate – free of charge and without obligation.

Real transformations
Every starting point is different. Here are examples from our clinic.
Start from home – your photos go directly to your surgeon
You do not need to travel to Prague simply to find out whether a Mommy Makeover may be right for you. Send us photos of your abdomen and breasts. The surgeon expected to perform your operation can often make an initial assessment of the appropriate combination and estimated price from the pictures.
The photo assessment does not replace an in-person examination. Before surgery, you meet your surgeon, review the full plan and confirm the details together. If implants are planned, you can also try different implant sizers.
I want to know what is possible for me
Does this sound familiar?
Your weight may be back to where you want it, yet the abdomen still feels soft, loose skin remains or hangs over a C-section scar. Your breasts may have lost volume after breastfeeding, dropped lower or simply feel empty.
These changes are not about discipline. Skin can stretch beyond its ability to contract again, and the abdominal wall may weaken.
A simple check for diastasis recti
- Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet on the floor.
- Place one hand behind your head and the other on the centre of your abdomen.
- Lift your head and shoulders slightly.
- Feel above and below your belly button. Can you feel a clear gap between the abdominal muscles?
This home check is only a guide. A doctor can assess the exact condition of your abdominal wall.
What can a Mommy Makeover combine?
There is no fixed package. Your surgeon builds the combination around your anatomy and what you want to change.
A Mommy Makeover is not simply “two operations at the same time”
The combination has to work as one operation. The aim is not to squeeze as much as possible into one anaesthetic, but to choose procedures that can be performed well within a sensible operating time.
That is why it matters whether a team performs combined procedures regularly or only occasionally. At Formé, we regularly perform abdominal and breast combinations, including more demanding breast cases.
How your Mommy Makeover in Prague works
1. Send your photos
Your intended surgeon reviews them and provides an initial recommendation and price estimate.
2. Complete your pre-operative tests
Your coordinator sends the exact requirements well in advance. We usually recommend completing the tests in your home country so any unexpected results can be addressed before travelling. Pre-operative testing can also be arranged in Prague.
3. Arrive in Prague
Your transfer from Prague Airport to the clinic and your return transfer to the airport are included. Parking in the clinic garage is free; electric vehicles cannot currently use the underground garage.
4. Meet your surgeon
Before surgery, you review the plan personally, discuss your wishes and confirm the details together.
5. Surgery and hospital stay
Depending on the combination, surgery usually takes around 3–5 hours and the planned stay in the clinic is normally two nights.
6. Aftercare
We recommend in-person follow-ups in Prague. Once you return home, you can continue discussing your recovery with us by photo or video.
Clear communication throughout your treatment
Our international patients are supported in English from their first enquiry through treatment planning, their stay at the clinic and follow-up after returning home.

Where will the scars be?
With a tummy tuck, the main scar sits low on the abdomen so it can usually be covered by underwear or a bikini. A full tummy tuck also leaves a scar around the belly button. Breast scars depend on the breast procedure performed.
Scars change over many months. They are more noticeable at first and generally soften and fade with time. Our team will explain the appropriate scar-care routine after surgery.
Recovery step by step
- First few days: rest, swelling and tightness.
- First 2 weeks: no heavy physical activity.
- Weeks 3–6: gradually return to normal activities.
- From around 6 weeks: heavier activity according to your surgeon's advice.
When can I lift my child again?
For the first few weeks, plan not to lift your child and arrange help at home. Your abdominal wall is still healing even if you already feel much better. Your surgeon will tell you when you can return to heavier lifting.
Your care does not end when you leave Prague
We recommend in-person follow-ups in Prague. Once you are back home, you can send us photos or arrange a video consultation.
We do not set a fixed number of remote follow-ups. If you need to discuss something during your recovery, contact us.
Hospitalisation PLUS – additional cost protection for €150
Every body responds differently. Even with careful planning, an individual physical response or a previously unknown health factor may occasionally mean that additional medical care is needed during your stay.
Hospitalisation PLUS covers defined additional medical costs within the clinic – for example necessary additional examinations, medication or a medically required revision procedure including anaesthesia.
Hospitalisation PLUS is optional, costs a one-off non-refundable €150 and is subject to the full terms provided before surgery.
A small travel tip: as with any trip abroad, we recommend travel health insurance. Many patients already have some cover through their bank or payment card. Check what you already have and what your policy actually covers before travelling.
Frequently asked questions about Mommy Makeover
What exactly is a Mommy Makeover?
A Mommy Makeover is not a fixed package. It combines individually selected breast and abdominal procedures and may also include liposuction. The right combination depends on what has changed after pregnancy, breastfeeding or weight loss.
Is a Mommy Makeover only for women who have had children?
No. Major weight loss can also leave excess abdominal skin and changes in breast volume or shape. Your anatomy matters more than the name of the procedure.
Do I need liposuction or a tummy tuck?
Liposuction removes fat but does not remove excess skin. When the skin is firm and local fat deposits are the main concern, liposuction may be enough. A tummy tuck addresses loose skin and can also repair the abdominal wall when needed. Sometimes combining both procedures makes the most sense.
Can a Mommy Makeover repair diastasis recti?
Yes. When a tummy tuck is part of the plan, the surgeon can tighten the abdominal wall and address the separation of the abdominal muscles. Liposuction alone does not repair diastasis recti.
How long after breastfeeding should I wait?
We generally recommend at least around six months and ideally approximately one year after breastfeeding. The breasts need time to settle into a stable shape, and your weight should ideally be stable too.
Can I become pregnant after a Mommy Makeover?
Yes. A future pregnancy may, however, change the results on your abdomen and breasts. If you are planning another baby soon, it is worth considering whether to postpone surgery until afterwards.
When can I lift my child again?
Plan not to lift your child during the first few weeks and arrange some help at home. Your abdominal wall continues to heal even when you start feeling much better. Your surgeon will advise when you can return to heavier lifting.
Who reviews my photos?
Your photos are reviewed directly by the plastic surgeon expected to perform your operation. They provide an initial recommendation and price estimate. The final plan is confirmed after your in-person examination.
Do I need to travel to Prague for my first consultation?
No. You can start with a free photo assessment from home. This gives you an initial idea of what procedures may be suitable and what they may cost. Before surgery, you meet your surgeon in person to review and confirm the full plan.
Can I complete my pre-operative tests in the UK or my home country?
Yes. Your coordinator sends you the exact list of required tests well in advance. We often recommend completing them before travelling so any unexpected findings can be addressed before your trip. Testing can also be arranged at the clinic in Prague.
How long should I stay in Prague?
The planned hospital stay is usually two nights. After larger combinations, we often recommend staying in Prague for several additional days. Around 7–10 days may be a sensible plan, but this is not a blanket requirement. We will advise you before you book your return journey.
When can I fly home?
Your surgeon will advise you according to the procedures performed and your early recovery. After larger combined procedures, we recommend planning several days in Prague rather than flying immediately after discharge. Your return flight should allow time for the follow-up checks planned for your case.
Do I need to stay in Prague until my stitches are removed?
Whenever practical, we recommend staying for the planned in-person checks and stitch removal. The timing depends on the procedures performed. We will explain your expected follow-up schedule before you travel so you can plan accommodation and your return flight.
What happens with follow-up care when I return home?
Your care does not end when you leave Prague. You can send us photos or arrange video consultations, and we do not set a fixed number of remote follow-ups. We recommend in-person checks in Prague whenever they are appropriate for your surgery.
Will I be supported in English?
Yes. Our international patients are supported in English from their first enquiry through treatment planning, their stay at the clinic and follow-up after returning home.
How much does a Mommy Makeover cost?
Prices start from €6,000. Your final quotation depends on the combination of procedures and the treatment plan agreed with your surgeon. You can receive an initial price estimate after the free photo assessment.
What is Hospitalisation PLUS?
Hospitalisation PLUS is an optional one-off non-refundable €150 service covering defined additional medical costs during your clinic stay if further medical care becomes necessary. You will receive the full terms and details of what is covered before surgery.
